I enjoy your station, hearing new artists and older artists I havent heard in a while.  I would like to hear deeper tracks.  Example Kid Rock only has 2 songs on your request page.  His biggest song to date isnt even on there.

What happened to Megashuffle.net?  I was a DAILY listener and am lost without it!  It was an awesome station and what I loved about it was that it had mixes that were not able to be found ANYWHERE!!  I really hope you are able to bring it back as Megashuffle.com is just not for me...but Megashuffle.net was.

MEGASHUFFLE is called the variety station because we do play a lot of songs from different genres that other stations don't play.  Yes, We do play the current songs often but we have been making efforts to make the time longer between spins so it doesn't get too obtrusive.  Perhaps it's time to expand the time further.  I have found our audience really wants to hear more of our current music rather than our older selections.

About every 7-10 days I do change out playlists and add or delete songs to it. Our on-air library is about 2000+ songs.

I have been considering doing an event where we do play everything in our library from A to Z.  Still kicking around how I am going to do that.

We do have shows like EAF that airs where you can hear older songs from the 1970s, 1980s. We also have a special coming up soon if I ever get done with it called "Mini-Concerts" where we play 2 or more selections from an artist or group.  We dig deep for that and hardly repeat anything for this event.

I have built Megashuffle to play good songs no matter when you turn it on. I always want the listener to hear something good on MEGASHUFFLE. Playing milliontrillion songs is not a good idea because it sounds terrible.  There has to be flow and reason to it.  Hence why you seem to enjoy our station.

OH COME ON Megashuffle!!!  Kings of Leon "Use Somebody" is the #5 song of the entire DECADE??? I love your station, but anytime any KOL song, especially this one, comes on I mute the station because I cannot stand that whiny crap.  You can't say that a song that's been out less than a year is the #5 most influential song of the entire decade!  That's a travesty to the entire alternative genre!  That being said, I've really enjoyed listening to this countdown and to your station... I have it on at work everyday :-)

Thanks for the email. I discovered your station while trying to find some variety for our office tunes and just fell in love with it. I cannot believe the assortment of songs your string together. It reminds me of the random "car" playlists I make, or putting my entire iTunes library on shuffle.

I love what you've done with the station and where you're going with it. Your "mini-concert series" and "halloween tunes" are great little virtual "events" you put on. It's funny how you can pull that off as a small radio station.

I have a ton of questions for you and would love to chat sometime. Not now - too busy - but definitely sometime. I'll be in touch for sure!

The song you just played "Apotheosis - O Fortuna" IS AWEFULL!!!! I listen to your station most of the day while working at home, and I LOVE your variety. But I had to change the channel, that song was so annoying it was torturing me!!!!

How you doing? As I can notice the I-Tunes "diversion" hasn't made any harm to you. I mean there are around 70-80 listeners all the time. I am happy for you! 
You know, since last December, when I tumbled your radio, my wife and I have not put CD in the CD player, and we have not tuned Serbian terestial radio stations. Megashuffle is everywhere: desktop computer in our home, coputer in my office, I even burned 6 CD-s, named Megashuffle for the car. Our kids likes your music too. Your radio commplitely changed our lifes. Before that I became a bit "rusty" about new music. I was only buying CD of artists I liked before and I did not pay any attentions in new music. First new song I heard on Megashuffle was Carolina Liar-I am Not Over, and it punched me in the head.
I heard that Serbia should join PayPal untill the end of this year, so I will donate you for sure. I recomended your station to many friends, even in Australia. I hope that will help you to become much stronger. I also attached Megashuffle on my Facebook page.

Yes on the older versions like 8.x we will be listed in the Alternative category.  However, when you and as everyone else upgrades their i-Tunes software to version 9 – it will move us to Top40/Pop. We will still be on i-Tunes – just a new location.  It looks like Apple totally re-vamped their categories under Radio with their new version of i-Tunes.   Several things they had on the older versions are different or gone.

I began to alert everyone on the air immediately because we are playing entirely different music then what our neighbors of the “top40/pop” category they moved us to plays.  I am obviously concerned about losing my current audience. I don’t think we are going to attract any new people to our audience as they click around at our new location.

 I am not happy about this change.  But I am happy we are still on i-Tunes.

A couple of weeks ago, I was scrolling through the radio stations on iTunes. Found this station and now, it's on every day:) Was kinda shocked when I found out that it was just a little station in USA, but you play all the music I like:)

It could be worst, I could of played Britney Spears or Shakira like we did prior to going with our current rock oriented MEGASHUFFLE. That selection does rather well with our listenership and still gets requests. It's still in our heavier rotations.

In this particular instance, the transition from risque rock song to more emo was just.... unsettling... one second I'm singing about pornstars and blow, the next I feel like i'm in middle school again : )
